Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food packages, retail goods, and essentials to customers across San Francisco
- Maintain pristine vehicle condition through daily inspections and proactive maintenance reporting
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions, handling special requests with professionalism
- Accurately process payments, manage inventory, and complete delivery documentation
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols in all weather conditions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and update delivery status in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 1 minor violation in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to safely navigate San Francisco's steep hills, tight streets, and dense traffic patterns
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team coordination
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking and communication apps
- Must pass background check and drug screening
