Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport gravel, sand, asphalt, and construction debris
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety regulations
- Collaborate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading
- Secure cargo properly to prevent spills during transit
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurement and documentation
- Physical ability to climb in/out of equipment and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- No DUIs in the past 5 years
