Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport construction materials and debris
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors for accurate loading/unloading procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Ensure cargo security during transit and at job sites
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Memphis metro area routes and terrain
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
