Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport packages safely to designated residential and commercial addresses in Sacramento and surrounding areas.
- Obtain digital signatures and confirm delivery details with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, record maintenance needs, and ensure the vehicle is clean and organized.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS technology to optimize delivery routes and meet time windows.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction scores.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and mileage as required by company policy.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B or Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a clean personal driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic proficiency with smartphone apps for navigation and delivery management.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and punctuality.
- Willingness to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
