Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout the Sacramento metro area.
- Navigate efficiently using advanced GPS systems and route maps to ensure timely deliveries.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, functionality, and safety before and after each shift.
- Provide friendly, professional, and courteous interactions with customers at every delivery point.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork as required by company policy.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Strong knowledge of the Sacramento, CA geography and local traffic patterns.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for navigation and communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent; CDL Class B is a plus but not required.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
