Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial addresses within the Raleigh metro area and surrounding regions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure accident-free driving records.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and handling packages with care.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery windows and maximize earning potential.
- Accurately log mileage, delivery statuses, and vehicle maintenance issues using the company app.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Proficiency in using smartphone applications for navigation and order management.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing traffic or delivery situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the designated depot.
