Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated delivery points throughout Raleigh and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and organization of parcels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor during all interactions.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and accurately report any mechanical issues.
- Utilize handheld technology for navigation, dispatch updates, and proof of delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Comfortable using smartphone GPS applications for route navigation.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
