Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to residential and commercial customers in the Portland metropolitan area.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks efficiently and safely.
- Verify delivery addresses and collect payments or obtain signatures for receipts.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, including regular cleaning and basic maintenance checks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally and resolving delivery issues on the spot.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic understanding of geography and navigation (GPS experience preferred).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly.
- Must possess a smartphone compatible with our delivery management app.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
