Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial customers within the Portland metro area and surrounding neighborhoods.
- Adhere strictly to delivery time windows to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain route efficiency.
- Inspect delivery vehicles daily to ensure they are clean, fueled, and in proper working condition.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues with a smile.
- Accurately handle cash and digital payments, as well as manage proof of delivery documents.
- Maintain a high standard of safety on the road, obeying all traffic laws and company policies.
- Manage inventory of packages and load/unload vehicles efficiently during shifts.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle for local commuting or use of company vehicle.
