Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial clients.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to scan packages and update delivery status in real-time.
- Ensure all parcels are handled with the utmost care and arrive in perfect condition.
- Provide outstanding customer service, including courteous interactions and professional packaging.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Navigate efficiently through city streets to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Access to a reliable vehicle (if applicable) or willingness to undergo company vehicle training.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology and GPS navigation apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
