Responsibilities
- Safe & Timely Delivery: Safely transport packages to designated addresses within the Nashville area.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver professional, friendly, and courteous service to every customer, including proper handling of signatures and proof of delivery.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Package Handling: Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring items are secure and protected during transport.
- Communication: Keep dispatch updated on any delays or issues encountered during the route.
- Route Planning: Navigate efficiently using provided GPS and maps to ensure the most effective delivery routes.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with the public.
- Residency: Must reside in or within a reasonable commuting distance of Nashville, TN.
- Technology: Basic proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and digital paperwork.
