Responsibilities
- Coordinate Night Shift Logistics: Manage the scheduling and dispatching of delivery vehicles to ensure timely arrivals across the Austin metropolitan area.
- Driver Support: Act as the primary point of contact for delivery drivers, providing route updates, traffic alerts, and customer instructions.
- Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot delivery issues in real-time, such as route deviations or customer access problems, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Documentation: Accurately record delivery statuses, vehicle checks, and incident reports using our digital logistics platform.
- Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with internal team members and external clients regarding delivery timelines.
- Inventory Management: Assist in verifying and logging incoming and outgoing cargo for specific high-priority night routes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, or the delivery industry is highly preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly.
