Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and efficiently, adhering to all weight and balance limits.
- Interact professionally with customers and ensure packages are delivered with the highest level of care and courtesy.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption using company apps.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUI in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a commercial vehicle.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
