Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize packages efficiently at delivery sites.
- Drive delivery vehicles safely and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Interact professionally with customers, including taking signatures and providing excellent service.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Update delivery status and route information in the company tracking system.
- Handle package returns or exchanges with care and accuracy.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle remains clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- A valid state-issued Driver's License (Class C or higher).
- A clean driving record with no major traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Basic knowledge of the New York City geography is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable cell phone with data access for navigation and communication.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
