Responsibilities
- Safe and Timely Delivery: Transport packages and documents to designated addresses in San Francisco and surrounding areas, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition and on time.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients professionally, obtaining signatures when necessary, and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and fuel-efficient.
- Route Navigation: Utilize GPS and mapping software to plan the most efficient routes, avoiding traffic congestion and delays.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and digital paperwork for every stop.
- Package Handling: Safely handle packages of varying sizes and weights, adhering to proper lifting techniques.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid, clean driver's license (Class C) with a satisfactory driving record.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to interact with customers and dispatchers.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability is essential.
