Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and business locations throughout San Diego.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure high satisfaction and handle any delivery issues with courtesy.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures where required.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Utilize handheld navigation devices to plan the most efficient routes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Complete daily delivery logs and submit accurate receipts.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C California Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for commercial use.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic computer and smartphone literacy for route planning and app usage.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
