Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and transport packages to designated residential and business addresses in the Raleigh area.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure accuracy before departing the depot.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and handling deliveries with care.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle for cleanliness and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Utilize handheld devices and GPS technology to navigate the most efficient delivery routes.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and time records.
- Handle cash or digital payments for COD orders when applicable.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver’s License is required (or equivalent in the UK).
- A current, clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and change.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn new delivery software and navigation tools.
