Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout Portland, OR, and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route plans to ensure maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Inspect delivery vehicles for cleanliness and safety before and after each shift.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery via mobile devices.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for navigation and communication.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
