Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Operate delivery vehicles (vans or box trucks) efficiently and according to safety regulations.
- Practice excellent customer service by greeting customers professionally and handling packages with care.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and route maps provided by the dispatch team.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Complete daily delivery logs and paperwork accurately.
- Handle cash and card payments if applicable at drop-off points.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and reading delivery schedules.
- Reliable smartphone for GPS navigation and communication.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
