Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial addresses safely and on time.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers while maintaining a positive company image.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle before and after every shift to ensure it is clean and mechanically sound.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Accurately complete delivery logs and manage electronic proof of delivery (POD) systems.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver's License is required.
- A clean driving record (no major traffic violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and route planning.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate efficiently using GPS and maps.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
