Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.
- Practice defensive driving techniques and adhere to all local traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Obtain proper signatures and ensure 100% proof of delivery for every shipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor at every interaction.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Utilize handheld devices for navigation, route planning, and logging delivery information.
Qualifications
- A valid U.S. Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major infractions in the last 3 years).
- Access to a reliable, insured personal vehicle (Sedan, SUV, or Van).
- A smartphone with a data plan and a willingness to download our delivery app.
- The ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for communication purposes.
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and holidays as needed.
