Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated addresses in Seattle and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Ensure all deliveries are accurate, complete, and placed in the appropriate designated zones.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, performing basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally with clients and residents.
- Utilize handheld devices to manage delivery logs, update tracking information, and navigate routes effectively.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy for GPS and order management systems.
