Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely load, transport, and unload packages and freight to designated delivery points.
- Route Navigation: Efficiently navigate delivery routes using GPS and mapping tools to ensure timely arrivals.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers to confirm deliveries and handle any issues courteously.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean and in good working condition.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and other required paperwork.
- Adaptability: Adjust to changing traffic conditions and delivery schedules during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Possession of a valid Driver’s License (Class C or CDL, depending on vehicle type).
- Record: Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible night shift hours (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and basic math proficiency.
- Experience: Previous delivery or logistics experience is a plus but not strictly required.
