About the Role:
You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial customers. This role requires a positive attitude and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to designated locations on a predefined route.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles using proper lifting techniques.
- Observe all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a safe delivery environment.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, including handling signatures and documentation.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Utilize mobile technology for navigation, route optimization, and proof of delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and proof of delivery apps.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
