Responsibilities
- Safely deliver food, packages, and retail items to customers across New Orleans metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile app to customers and dispatch team
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and ensure temperature-sensitive items are handled properly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Represent Express Logistics with professionalism and local pride
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with minimum 2 years of driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles (van/box truck experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans streets and neighborhoods
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for app-based communication
- Must pass background check and drug screening
