Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load, unload, and organize packages efficiently to ensure timely delivery to residential and commercial clients.
- Provide excellent customer service by handling deliveries with care and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs using handheld digital devices.
- Handle package returns and address customer inquiries professionally.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a commercial or logistics environment is required.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
