Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload packages from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Deliver parcels to residential and commercial addresses throughout the Nashville metro area efficiently and on time.
- Interact positively with customers, handling any questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Utilize handheld delivery technology to track routes, update delivery statuses, and communicate with dispatch.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Collect payments or process returns accurately when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to lift, carry, and stack packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic proficiency with smartphone technology for navigation and digital logging.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the local depot.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and for extended periods.
