Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and materials to designated locations in Minneapolis, OH, and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using hand trucks, dollies, or pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every route.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean and in good working condition.
- Organize delivery schedules and manage time effectively to meet time-critical deadlines.
- Handle cash or digital transactions for COD deliveries accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 3 points).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Basic computer literacy for using handheld delivery devices.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
