Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers or delivery trucks efficiently using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial customers.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in perfect condition.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues as they arise.
- Keep accurate delivery logs and paperwork up to date.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License (Class C preferred, but we will train qualified candidates).
- A clean driving record with no recent DUI or reckless driving violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages (up to 70 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging routes.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
