Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) on assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
- Verify shipment accuracy and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Complete daily logbooks and paperwork accurately and on time.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients during every stop.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current DOT medical card and a clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform pre-trip inspections.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
