Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and parcels to residential and commercial addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Obtain signatures and proof of delivery for all packages.
- Inspect vehicle daily, checking tires, brakes, gas, and oil to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Follow traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of the driver, the company, and the public.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, handling complaints or issues with a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 3 points).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use a smartphone or handheld device for navigation.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
