As a key member of our logistics network, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive their packages safely and on time. We are hiring immediately for both part-time and full-time roles.
Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Driving: Operate commercial vehicles in a safe, courteous, and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and delivery schedules.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service by communicating clearly with customers and handling packages with care.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in excellent operating condition.
- Route Management: Navigate efficiently through Memphis traffic to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption.
- Load Management: Secure cargo properly during transit and assist in loading/unloading trucks at distribution centers.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A current, valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or Class A is preferred; Class C with good driving record is acceptable for local routes.
- Driving Record: A clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Availability: Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
