Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles to deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within Memphis and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly and handled with care to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures upon successful drop-off.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery records and vehicle mileage using our mobile app.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent state driver’s license.
- A clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change if required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable smartphone capable of running GPS and delivery management apps.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
