Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated addresses in Long Beach and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage, adhering to safety protocols.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures where necessary to ensure proper completion of orders.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent the Coastal Express brand professionally.
- Utilize handheld devices for navigation, route planning, and digital documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable smartphone capable of using GPS navigation apps.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
