Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial destinations within the Long Beach area.
- Ensure timely delivery by adhering to strict time windows and route plans.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle at all times.
- Verify recipient identities and obtain necessary signatures for proof of delivery.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve any delivery issues on the spot.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of local Long Beach streets and traffic patterns.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle or willingness to use a company vehicle.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and app-based tasks.
