Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated residential and commercial locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company driving policies.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
- Update delivery status using company software or mobile applications.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle for company use (if applicable) or willingness to drive a company truck.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems.
