Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customer locations in a timely manner.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring all items are accounted for and undamaged.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures for proof of delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle inquiries professionally.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols strictly.
- Complete daily delivery logs and report any vehicle issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in logistics is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
