Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Transport: Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a timely manner, ensuring the safety of the merchandise and the public.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, confirming deliveries, and handling any special instructions or complaints professionally.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in excellent mechanical condition.
- Route Optimization: Utilize the mobile app to plan the most efficient routes, manage delivery time windows, and track your status.
- Documentation: Complete digital logs accurately and submit necessary paperwork for all deliveries.
Qualifications
- License & Record: Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a commercial vehicle.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Technology: Must possess a reliable smartphone and be proficient with GPS navigation apps.
