Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses in Oakland and surrounding areas in a timely and safe manner.
- Customer Interaction: Provide professional, friendly, and courteous service to every customer you meet or interact with via phone or app.
- Package Handling: Ensure all items are handled with care, properly loaded, secured, and delivered according to company standards.
- Route Management: Use the provided GPS and mapping tools to plan the most efficient routes to maximize delivery speed and minimize fuel costs.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep your assigned vehicle clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Reporting: Accurately report delivery exceptions, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately.
- Documentation: Complete digital paperwork and logs accurately as required by company policy.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid state-issued driver's license (Class C) and a valid driver's abstract.
- Experience: No prior delivery experience required. We provide training for the right candidates.
- Vehicle: Access to a reliable vehicle (sedan, SUV, or cargo van depending on position) in good condition.
- Technology: A modern smartphone with a data plan and access to email.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
