Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring all equipment is in proper working order before and after each shift.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain proper signatures to confirm successful drop-offs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers courteously and handling any inquiries or issues professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of yourself and the public.
- Manage fuel and vehicle maintenance, reporting any mechanical issues promptly to fleet management.
- Follow route maps and GPS instructions to optimize delivery efficiency and time management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required, no major traffic violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and smartphone applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle for shift rotations (if applicable to specific role).
