Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in the Kansas City metro area.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Inspect vehicle for damage before and after each shift; report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure accident-free driving.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle efficiently and securely.
- Utilize handheld devices to update delivery status and navigate routes accurately.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery issues with a problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the depot.
