Responsibilities
- Safe & Timely Delivery: Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe and timely manner, adhering to the designated route.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Inspect the delivery vehicle before and after each shift to ensure it is clean, fueled, and in proper working order.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, handle cash/card transactions accurately, and resolve any delivery issues with a smile.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary delivery paperwork, including proof of delivery and mileage logs, accurately and on time.
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load packages onto the vehicle and unload them at the final destination, ensuring items are not damaged.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid, clean Class C Driver’s License and a good driving record.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old to operate a commercial vehicle.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic familiarity with handheld devices or mobile apps for navigation and delivery tracking.
