Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial locations in a timely manner.
- Unload and organize deliveries at each stop, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving any delivery concerns with a smile.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and proper maintenance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital records using our mobile application.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Handle package handling with care to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major traffic violations).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple stops efficiently.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using delivery apps and GPS navigation.
- Must reside within or be willing to relocate to the Jacksonville, FL area.
