Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in Detroit, MI, and surrounding regions.
- Obtain digital signatures and verify delivery details to ensure accuracy.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve any delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Complete necessary paperwork and log daily miles accurately using company software.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License (or equivalent) and a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift packages weighing between 50 and 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficiency in using smartphone apps for GPS navigation and order management.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional appearance.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle with current insurance.
