Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Assist in loading and unloading vehicles to ensure proper handling of goods.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle throughout your shift.
- Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery.
- Follow designated delivery routes and adhere to all traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Ensure all paperwork and delivery logs are completed accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for local delivery.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using delivery apps.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
