Responsibilities
- Safe and Timely Deliveries: Transport packages to designated residential and commercial locations in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean and in proper working condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and other necessary paperwork.
- Asset Protection: Safeguard company assets, including packages and the delivery vehicle, while on duty.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Previous experience in delivery or logistics is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Strong commitment to punctuality, attendance, and safety protocols.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to use handheld devices for navigation and reporting.
