Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in a timely and professional manner.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and ensuring a positive unboxing experience.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Utilize handheld devices to log delivery statuses, track mileage, and manage digital receipts.
- Adhere to traffic laws and all company safety policies to ensure a secure work environment.
- Sort and organize packages efficiently at the distribution center before loading the vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently.
- Proficient in using smartphones and navigation applications (Google Maps, etc.).
- Must be at least 21 years old to comply with DOT regulations.
- Basic English proficiency for clear communication with dispatch and customers.
