Responsibilities
- Safe Delivery: Transport packages safely and efficiently to residential and commercial customers within the Albuquerque area.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure cleanliness and mechanical safety.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, handling inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and other paperwork.
- Load Management: Ensure the vehicle is loaded properly and securely to prevent damage to goods.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver's License (or equivalent) required.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with dispatch and customers.
- Reliability: A history of reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy for using handheld delivery devices.
