Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans, box trucks, or parcel vans) in all weather conditions.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring items are handled with care and are not damaged.
- Follow prescribed routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival at customer locations.
- Interact professionally with customers, handle cash/card transactions, and obtain signatures upon delivery.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Resolve delivery issues on-site with a customer-service-first approach.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and tracking packages.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable access to a smartphone for navigation and job updates.
