Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses in the Indianapolis metro area.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are handled with care and delivered in perfect condition.
- Interact professionally with customers, maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor at every stop.
- Utilize handheld devices for route navigation, proof of delivery, and customer communication.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations to ensure a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License required with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic proficiency with smartphone technology for GPS navigation and delivery apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to plan efficient delivery routes.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Reliable transportation to and from the designated distribution center.
